Usually this time every year I am still stuck in a store for Black Friday (Willingly, mind you!). However, the age old tradition my girlfriend and I began a little over three years ago was postponed due to her illness, (Way too much food for that tiny of a person, ha!) so I decided to be proactive and share some pictures from my Thanksgiving table this year. For the past three years we have spent our Turkey Day with my parents’ childhood friends. At first I was adverse to this because I really didn’t get on with them. I never really ran in the same crowds with their daughter and I never fancied them as a whole but as time passed and tradition wore me down, they have grown to be some of the most loyal friends and sweetest people I know.

This is the first of many last holidays for me. The year 2015 will bring the combination of my own traditions forming and old ones staying the same. This year’s holiday season start has been a bittersweet one for me. The transition of not waking up with my parents on every holiday is very scary to think about. Age 25 has presented a lot of big changes for me. I usually don’t do well with change but I am going to try my very best.

But, enough of the sadness. I hope all of you had the best day. Show me your tables and families!
